In September, Round Rock High School PTSA officially received the Head Start Award from Texas PTA. This award is given to PTAs who have at least 85% of last year's membership! While we have not officially received the September and October awards yet, we have already met the membership numbers to receive those awards as well. So, thank you to every member who joined this year! We could not have done it without all of you.

Reflections
What does your culture mean to you? Share your story with the world through the National PTA Reflections program. This year's theme, "What My Culture Means to Me," invites Round Rock High School students to celebrate identity, heritage, traditions, and personal experiences through creative expression. Students can submit their entries in any of these categories:
Dance Choreography
Film Production
Literature
Music Composition
Photography
Visual Arts
Accessible Arts Category
Your voice matters, and your work could advance from the local level all the way to the National PTA competition. Submit your entry by October 25, 2026 and represent yourself, represent Round Rock!
Clothes Closet
The Clothes Closet is a service project sponsored by the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs. The program provides gently used clothing, as well as new socks and underwear, to Round Rock ISD students in need.
All students attending any of the 56 Round Rock ISD schools are eligible to receive services. If you need services, see the school nurse or your counselor for a voucher.
The Clothes Closet has two locations: Voigt Elementary and Anderson Mill Elementary. The Clothes Closet is always looking for volunteers and donations.

Dragon Excellence Supporters
Partner with the Round Rock High School PTSA as a Dragon Excellence Supporter for the 2026–2027 school year! Your sponsorship gives your business valuable exposure to the 3,800+ students and their families that make up the RRHS community, while directly supporting programs, events, and initiatives that benefit our students, teachers, and entire school community.
Your support helps us create meaningful experiences for our Dragons and show our teachers and staff how much our community appreciates them. At the same time, your business gets the opportunity to put its name in front of thousands of local families and demonstrate your commitment to the Round Rock community.

Shoutout to the over 60 Seniors who have already submitted 80+ Dragon Force hours AND are PTSA Members!
Dragon Force
Dragon Force is a student community service program that encourages and recognizes volunteerism among RRHS students. Its mission is to raise awareness of community needs, connect students with volunteer opportunities, and promote a culture of service.
RRHS students who are PTSA Student Members and complete at least 80 service hours by the spring of their senior year will qualify for a service honor cord (photo of what it looks like to the right).
Important 2026–2027 Dragon Force Dates
April 12, 2027: Deadline for seniors to submit their service hours to earn their service cord.
May 27, 2027: Deadline for underclassmen to turn in their service hours from the current school year.
Texas PTA Scholarship
Texas PTA offers $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Texas who will be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university or a technical institute for the summer, fall, and/or spring terms immediately following applicant’s high school graduation.
Eligibility requirements:
Graduating high school senior
Current PTSA member of Round Rock High School
Note: PTSA membership is a renewable, annual membership. Current membership year began August 1.
Applicant must plan to be enrolled full-time in an accredited college, university or a technical institute in the summer or fall/spring semester immediately following high school graduation.
Application is due November 15, 2026.
