OPEN - We are currently seeking a second student representative.

Want to make a difference at Round Rock High School and have a voice in the work of the PTSA? The Round Rock High School PTSA is looking for a student to serve as our Student Representative for the 2026–2027 school year!

The Student Representative is a member of the PTSA board and serves as an important link between students and the PTSA. This is an opportunity to share the student perspective, bring ideas and concerns to the board, and help shape programs and initiatives that benefit the RRHS community.

What Does a Student Representative Do?

• Attend PTSA board meetings and participate in discussions

• Share the student perspective on PTSA programs, events, and initiatives

• Bring student ideas, concerns, and suggestions to the PTSA board

• Help the PTSA better understand what matters to RRHS students

• Support PTSA activities and events when possible

• Help promote PTSA opportunities and programs to fellow students

• Work with PTSA student and adult leaders to strengthen our school community

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for a student who is:

• Interested in making a positive difference at RRHS

• Comfortable sharing ideas and speaking up

• Responsible and able to attend meetings

• Interested in learning about leadership and how a PTSA operates

• Willing to represent the student body as a whole, not just one organization, club, or group

You do not need to be a current PTSA member to apply. However, if selected, student must become a student member of Round Rock High School PTSA.

Serving as Student Representative is a great opportunity to:

• Develop leadership and communication skills

• Gain experience working with school and community leaders

• Have a direct voice in PTSA decisions and initiatives

• Help create programs and opportunities that benefit RRHS students

• Add meaningful leadership experience to your college and scholarship applications
